Very bad news is filtering through from Hilton Park with the confirmation that Leigh Centurions have applied to the High Court to be put into administration.
The Centurions are said to be around £500,000 in debt and have been in boardroom crisis since chairman Mike Nolan withdrew his £225,000 counter-bid for control of the club, in direct with a consortium of Leigh businessman who are also looking to take over the club.
If Leigh's request to be put into administration is accepted then it will be the third time in twelve years that it has happened for the Centurions. Surely this will ring alarm bells in the minds of supporters and they will predictably start to rally to raise funds. Normal non-LISA members can support the club in two simple ways already. You could either buy a season ticket for next season or join LISA and pledge your support.
