Pair banned

Two Leigh Centurions players have received suspensions to take effect next season following incidents in the recent Grand Final defeat to Huddersfield. Second rower Andy Isherwood has been fined £150 and been banned for 5 matches after a dangerous tackle on Giants forward Rob Roberts in the Widnes showpiece. However, it seems that Isherwood is ironically going to join Widnes and play in Super League so won't serve the suspension in Leigh colours.

Centre Jon Roper has been banned for 2 matches and fined £100 for a high tackle in the same match.
