Ben Blair has not been seleceted in Grahme Henry's bumper 39-man New Zealand squad.

It's good news for Dai Young, as thoughts that he still had a international career were the only thing holding Ben Blair back from signing with Cardiff.

With the season now over, fans can expect to hear a near finalised squad for next season is coming weeks, and Blair should be the jewell in next years crown.

Confirmation of around 4 signings will come sometime in June, along with the names of promoted youngsters to the Blues main squad. We will alos then know just how many players are being axed. The latest name is Maama Molitika, who despite a last minute talks with Cardiff, is heading to Japan. Tristan Davies and many more names are set leave at the end of contracts.
