Blues trio Rhys Williams, Robin Sowden-Taylor and Jamie Robinson have been called up to train with Wales' 6 Nations squad. It signals a return to the international scene for both Rhys Williams and Jamie Robinson, who have been frozen out in recent squads.

44-times capped Williams arrives to train having been announced in Wales Commonwealth sqaud last week. The Blues captain has not featured for Wales since the Summer Tour of USA and Canada, and will be keen to impress Mike Ruddock after a poor season with the Cardiff side.

It's been even longer for Jamie Robinson. The highly rated centre has 13 Welsh caps, included a memorable appearance against New Zealand in which he scored a magnificent try. But his career derailed tragically back in 2004 when he suffered a series f knee injuries that meant he missed the entire 2004-2005 season. Now 25, Robinson is back in the Blues starting line-up, but has yet to really recapture the form that made him the Celtic leagues top try scorer 03/04. Robinson will be very keen to join up with Wales, and hopefully it'll be the next step in the long road to international acliam.

Robin Sowden-Taylor has also been drafted in. The open and blind side flanker has been a shining light for Cardiff this season, and has even captained the side on one occasion. RST was part of the Grand Slam winning side of last year, and had been in all of Mike Ruddocks squads up until the current 6 Nations one. Robin is a great player and has time on his side. Even if he doesn't make an appearence this year, there's a bright future for the man many tout as the next Martyn Williams.

Neath and Wales U21's outside hald James Hook is the other player brought into the squad who will train with the side over the next 2 weeks incase injuries arise in club and regional matches this weekend.
