This weekend sees what some may view as a welcome break from the recent disappointments of the Pro 12, with a trip to Pau in the Euro Challenge Cup.
The best of luck to the team and travelling support, who apparently have been boosted by clothing reinforcements brought over by Cardiff Blues' CEO Richard Holland.
Being reported that domachowski will start, Gill and Thyer both undergoing hia. Piekrishvilli covering on bench. Ellis jenkins and scully also unavailable. Squad really being stretched thin!!!!
Got a lot of time for Scully, Decent player and totally unselfish for playing last weekend under those circumstances and playing well. Hope he stays on next season.

13 first team players injured!!! Hopefully they can recover over the break in time for the very important run into the end of the season.
Lee-lo never gets injured!
Be very interesting to see if we get success from Robinson-Shingler pivot...its something I've thought about recently, should give Shingler more time to think about whether to kick and hopefully allow Halaholo to be very creative outside.
Interesting that Corey Allen has be preferred over Cuthbert on the wing!
Very strange decision on Cuthbert I can only think either he hasn't trained this week or he is still nursing his groin problem. With the best will in the world Cuthy is a better winger than Corey.
Please feel free to correct me (it's Sunday night, I'm tired and have had a glass or two of red, but if we win next week we will qualify, probably as third best runner up, and if so our most likely hosts for the quarter finals will be our old friends at the Liberty...
Depends if Gloucester win as they could top that group and not La Rochelle. If Quins lose to Stade there is also a chance 7th seeds could have a trip to Edinburgh.
2.3 The five pool winners and three best-placed runners-up will qualify for the quarter-finals and will be decided as follows:
(a) The pool winner will be the club with the highest number of match points in each pool. The best-placed runners-up will be the three clubs with the highest number of match points out of the five clubs that finish second in their respective pools. For the quarter-finals, the pool winners will be ranked 1 to 5 and the best-placed runners-up 6 and 8 by reference to the number of match points earned.
(b) If two clubs in the same pool are equal on match points at the end of the pool stage, their ranking will be determined by the results of the two matches played between the relevant clubs as follows:
(i) the club with the greater number of match points from those matches; or
(ii) if equal, the club with the best aggregate points difference from those matches: or
(iii) if equal, the club that scored the most tries in those matches.
2.4 The clubs ranked 1 to 4 will have home advantage for the quarter-finals as follows:
Club 1 v Club 8 (QF1)
Club 4 v Club 5 (QF2)
Club 3 v Club 6 (QF3)
Club 2 v Club 7 (QF4)
Unless Pau beat Bath, in Bath, the best we can do is second.
Brieve should beat the Dregs, meaning we go thru anyway.
Rochelle should beat Treviso to get 23 points.
Quins v Stade is key. And they play the day after everyone else, so they'll know what they have to do!!! And Stade still have to play Taramasalata.
With the Tosspreys already on 25 points and a visit to Newcastle (who cannot qualify) to come, yes, we are likely to be away to them.
Quins win and we will probably scrape through in 8th place. Quins lose but keep Stade to just 4 points, and we could make 7th ~ Likely Edinburgh or Glaws away.
Oh lucky us.
The knock out games are not until April so plenty of time to get all our boys back and firing. We have enough to beat Bristol. ( hopefully) When we are fully loaded we will cause a few teams problems as we did in September.
By April as long as we don't pick up new injuries we will only be missing Turnbull & Fish as all the others will be back.
If we have all our boys back by April we can give the Ospreys a real run for the money, we will be under dogs for sure but with our strongest team we can give any ago imo
