Toyota's Jarno Trulli has slated BAR Honda's Takuma Sato following a collision between the two drivers in today's Japanese Grand Prix. After a poor start, where Takuma ran wide into the first turn and was then tapped by BAR-bound Rubens Barrichello, the Japanese driver set about recovering, coming up behind Jarno Trulli at the chicane on lap nine. A somewhat optimistic move to the inside saw Sato's car slide heavily into the side of Trulli's, putting the Italian out of the race on the spot.

"I think we have a dangerous person on the track," raged a clearly angry Trulli to ITV-F1. "It's clear for a few years that he is just causing a lot of problems and we have to stop it. The federation has to take action. He tried to do a manoeuvre that is just impossible so I don't know what he is thinking when he is driving."

Trulli will take his grievance straight to the stewards of the event, and won't talk to Takuma about the incident. "There is no point because he keeps doing it," explains Trulli, "which means he won't learn and he won't be able to understand."
