Brunotti, the fashion brand based in the Netherlands, are to leave BAR Honda after three years, dealing a significant blow to the Brackley based team. Brunotti produces BAR's team travel and factory wear and manufactures a complete range of race and test team clothing. In addition to producing the team wear, Brunotti has a distinctive livery on the wing mirrors of the BAR Honda 006, as well as the team and drivers' clothing.

"Brunotti plans to appeal to today's consumers with the right segmentation in the sportswear and fashion collections combined with a distinct marketing focus on board sports like kitesurfing and snowboarding," explains a Brunotti press release. "There is no room in this 'Next Wave' for Formula One, which is a fascinating world, but charted territory for Brunotti that does not offer sufficient added value for the future."

The Brunotti deal was estimated to be worth around $1.3 million a year. In leaving BAR, they're taking away our only excuse to run these pictures.
