The first practice session for the French Grand Prix at Magny Cours has finished, and there was no sign of the Lucky Strike BAR Honda's of Jacques Villeneuve and Jenson Button.
The BAR team boss, David Richards, was due in court at 9:00 to resolve the situation that has led to all three BAR cars being impounded at the circuit.
The dispute is over a $3.2 million bill apparently due to PPGI, but denied by both Craig Pollock and David Richards. Back at Monaco the cars were impounded, with David Richards / BAR being given legal guardian status presumably on the condition the cars did not leave Monaco.
