Bob Constanduros reports that the three BAR cars have been loaded on to the back of one of their trucks after another legal threat from PPGI, the Monaco-based film company, is realised at Magny-Cours circuit by a local bailiff and attorney from Nevers. At this stage it is not certain whether the cars will be taken away, or left where they are.

The bailiffs have placed an injunction on the cars, it seems, but whether they will be removed or simply locked up there and then, and whether the bailiff's restriction includes the garage remains to be seen.

Apparently judgement is being delayed until tomorrow.

According to Minardi, it is the same two legal staff who locked away their cars in 1995 when the team was being taken to court by Briatore. The mechanics have gone, being told to be on time tomorrow at 8am as usual.

There is no sign of David Richards, even though he was warned that this might happen, and he is on the way down. No sign even of team manager Ron Meadows. The only senior management was from Honda (who earlier this week saw Mugen boss Hirotoshi Honda arrested for on suspicion of tax evasion)

All Bridgestone tyres have been returned to Bridgestone.

The attorney and bailiff were backed up by a posse of local gendarmes who facilitated entry to the paddock, with Pasquale Lattuneddu representing the manufacturers and team, keeping in touch with Bernie Ecclestone by telephone.
