The ITV employee hospitalised in Brazil on Monday with a suspected case of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome is already out of hospital after doctors in Sao Paulo discovered that she is not suffering from the mystery virus that has killed around 80 people in Asia.
Sally Blower, who looks after the logistics of the ITV team rather than being a journalist as had been reported, is recovering in a Sao Paulo hotel. She does have a case of pneumonia but it is of the conventional kind and is responding to treatment.
