Radio problems for JV caused pit error

According to rival site BARF1fans, Geoff Willis has promised to work to fix the radio gremlins that led to the pitstop problems at the Australian Grand Prix. He also plans to look into what can be changed to minimise the damage done if situations like that happen again.
"It was a radio communications failure and I will say that what we have to do is brush up on our procedures when there is the potential for confusion," Willis admitted.
"When something is broken completely you can treat it, but when it is working intermittently it's something different. We used the pitboard to give Jacques a message to say that we understood, but we obviously didn't manage the pitstop properly. Without the problem I think we could have finished fifth or sixth." he added, optimistically.
