Villeneuve rules out race wins in 2003

Speaking at the launch of the BAR 005, Villeneuve is adamant that his dream of winning a second title is far from over and that the first step towards this goal is to have the right package, and he believes the BAR-Honda is definite step forward. "At least this one looks like a proper F1 car," he said at the unveiling. "So that's good."

"I think we should be able to fight against everyone except Ferrari," he continued. "Certainly if the numbers Geoff Willis has shown us are true."

Realistically, what are Jacques hopes for the coming season: "We want to compete for the top three positions," he says. "Our target is to finish every race, regularly being in the points and being on the podium as often as we can."
