All these factors will come into play this weekend at THE CANADIAN GP.

OH CANADA !  This race has all elements that true F1 fans seek. Mercedes has been rather mum going into round 7. Surely the car should possess upgrades for this grueling venue, but little has been disclosed to the news Medias.

Nico and Michael have expressed confidence going into the Gilles Villeneuve Circuit. The Mercedes engine has the power to be competitive at high speeds but has been dialed back to gain valuable down-force in previous races. This race may require a little more top speed. Tires again will play the major role in conforming to the abrasive track surface. Tire degradation, and brake wear will be pushed to the extreme caused by coming from high speeds down to speeds slow enough to navigate the sharp turns at the end of the long straights.

Weather in early June can enter into the equation as well, but let’s cross our fingers for a dry race.

From all the information offered through the various F1 sites Mercedes AMG figures in as one of the strong candidates for a successful race in Montreal. We as Silver Arrows fans can only hope our team will live up to all the pre-race hype.
