BRAZILIAN GRAND PRIXInterlagos Circuit, Sao Paulo Circuit Length: 4.309 km Race Number of Laps: 71 Distance: 305.909 km Lap Record: 1'11''473 J.P Montoya, Williams – 2004
As we go into the two final races of the season the WDC Championship is wide open. Will Alonso continue his late season assault or will Webber or Vettel bounce back ?
Brazil usually serves up an interesting race. Going the other direction on a bumpy track always challenges the neck muscles. The weather can vary considerably sometimes causing an unexpected finish. All the stops will have to be pulled out by McLaren if either Hamilton or Button expect to stay in contention for the title.
Our Mercedes boys are looking forward to achieving points and increasing the lead over Renault.
If Massa turns in a good race he could definitely be the spoiler in the equation.

Clearly Buemi was there. I saw the footage and he was 2 tenths quicker than MS in that stage but had to lift the foot.
He would have been easily in q3. And who knows how high after that.
MS was great but it doesnt change the fact that Nico was blocked.
Hulkenberg was lightning fast
Quote:I remember that qualifying, too. By the way, Rosberg wasn't slowed by Buemi, he made a mistake. Yes, the almighty NICO made a mistake! Incredible, I know! How dare he!Herman Munster

The TV footage showed rosberg slowed into a corner behind buemi, it was after he had been held up, thats why he slowed down.
Unfortunately, Schumacher threw away the chance of a top 4 grid spot, he set his fastest time with about 6 minutes to go, all the others were in the last 2-3 minutes, if he had banged one in then he wouldn't have been so far back. Disappointing given all his experience.
Race
Nico made up places at the start, MS lost places. It seemed that MS wasnt even trying, he was just cruising around behind Sutil. He then let Nico past to avoid a racing overtake being seen around the world, at least by letting Nico pass, he saved some face during another poor effort and didnt let Nico have the satisfaction of overtaking him.
All in all, a very exciting GP

As for the race, yes, Michael was a coward. What a cock for playing the team game! He should've just done what Rosberg did in Japan and block his teammate for the sake of it and in the process wreck his car!

Quote:Big deal! Senna's done much worse things. But you wouldn't know that anyway...Herman Munster
I'm still laughing about the Rascass incident. OMG how selfish and unsporting. No surprise he's so hated the old cheat.

I think we should remember the team, and not rubbish any particular driver just because hes had a bad year. Having said that, this is F1 and drivers who only score only half of their team mates points aren't usually tolerated for long.
