Nico Rosberg first to drive Mercedes GP 2010 car

With just fifteen days of single car testing before the 2010 Formula 1 season starts, many expect Michael Schumacher to get the lions share of the driving in order to prepare him for a return to the sport after three years away.
However, TotalMercedesGP.com understands that it will be Nico Rosberg who will drive the Mercedes GP car first on 1 February in Valencia, and will continue for four days. Michael Schumacher won't sit in the car until the second test session at Jerez on 13 February.
Both driver should get around seven days testing each, totalling somewhere in the region of 2,000 miles per driver, assuming a reasonable level of reliability.
Our information also suggests the car should be launched in Stuttgart towards the end of January. As soon as we have firm details, we will obviously update the site.
