Meet the new world Champion!

The new world champion, Brawn GP's Jenson Button, will be returning to the UK today, ready for his first appearance since clinching the drivers title in Brazil yesterday evening.

If you want to see the new champion in person, where he'll be driving a Mercedes SL AMG around a tight course before taking a question and answer session with the audience hosted by BBC Radio 5 Live's David Croft, then get down to the Bluewater Shopping Centre on Tuesday morning to secure your place in the crowd.

There'll even be competitions to join Button as a passenger around the temporary circuit.

The event, originally intended to promote Virgin Media's broadband service, is the last day of a seven-day event to celebrate all things fast and furious. As well as Button and his Mercedes SL, there'll be an F1 simulator, high-speed gaming, a paddock area complete with a Brawn GP replica car, a Mercedes-Benz showcase and a speedy car wash - whatever that may be!

"I'm really looking forward to joining Virgin Media's SpeedWeek50 at Bluewater on Tuesday," said Jenson Button. "It's always great to have the chance to meet some of our fans away from the race track, and taking the lucky ones round the Bluewater track in our Mercedes AMG car will be a lot of fun."
