Lewis Hamilton led the Chinese GP from pole, before spinning off at low speed in the pit lane entry. Kimi Raikkonen and Fernando Alonso pounced and took the top two steps of the podium, joined by Felipe Massa, and setting up a three-way battle for the championship in Brazil. At Honda, Button enjoyed a good race to fifth, while Barrichello dropped to the back of the field, ending the race in 15th.
