The weather conditions were once again warm and sunny this morning as day two of this week’s test got underway in Jerez. Rubens took over the reins of the RA107-06 from Christian and spent the morning establishing a good baseline set-up before embarking on a mechanical and aerodynamic evaluation programme, notching up a total of 49 laps.
In the sweltering heat of the afternoon session, where temperatures once again soared to a very uncomfortable 36 degrees, Rubens’ continued the aero programme for the day, posting a further 79 laps.
