The news that we all have wanted is on the horizon with Marseille claiming that the deal is set to be done. The deal is said to be between 6.8 and 7.6 Euros (approximately between 4.3 and 4.8 million quid).

The news has broken on the Marseille website, with the Marseille President talking about the deal. If you don't believe me look for yourselves

28/11.....Now Moyes has confirmed the news stating,

“We have been working hard to try and finalise the deal and the Board at Everton have been fantastic in putting the finances in place."

“There are still one or two matters to be sorted out with Joseph and his advisors but we hope to conclude the deal in the next couple of days.”

Fantastic news for those of us who were certain that he would be snapped up by somebody else.....now the board can turn their attentions to Rooney.
