Celtic Warriors benefactor and Chief Executive, Leighton Samuel, has done a U-turn and is understood to have agreed to stay at the Warriors after talks with players at the region.
It is understood that after a meeting on Friday morning with the Warriors players, benefactor and Chief Executive Leighon Samuel has decided to stay at the region and continue to fund the team despite releasing a statement earlier this week saying that he would be stepping down from his role at the Warriors at the end of this season.
Leighton Samuel currently spends approximately 50,000 a month to fund the Celtic Warriors and with recent announcements that there will be funding cuts for next season, the amount of money Samuel ploughs into the region may have to increase in order to ensure survival.
Further details on Samuel's U turn will be here soon.
