The Celtic Warriors moved up to joint first place in the Celtic League alongside Ulster who play the Dragons tomorrow after a closely fought ontest against the Scarlets.

"They are just a small part of Swansea!!!"

A decent game, which the Warriors dominated until the 50 minute mark and from then on it was Scarlets who took the game to the Warriors. Fortunately, the Scarlets did not offer much behind the pack which enabled us to cling on for the win and keep our hopes of lifting the Celtic League trophy at the end of the season. However, like Lynn Howells has been saying, there is still another eight rounds of matches to go and anything could happen in that time.

The Scoring:
A try from Cory Harris along with a Neil Jenkins conversion, 2 penalties and a penalty from Ceri Sweeney secured the points for the Warriors - winning 16 - 15.

The next thing that I'm about to say may be hard for some of you to believe but Jinks actually missed a kick, and it was an important one! Anyway a great record by the legend - just a shame it has had to come to an end after all the media coverage the incredible feat has received throughout the week leading up to this match.

Both sides had grumbles with the ref, why is it refs always seem to penalise the scrum which is on top? Oh well I suppose he was consistently inconsistent enough to both sides but it shouldn't be that way - although Gareth Jenkins seems to think that dubious decisions cost his Scarlets team the victory.

What was Yoda doing?

After 60mins Jinks, JB and the back row had had enough and we were crying out for replacements which we did have and quality ones at that on the bench.

Sweeney had his Dominici moment at the end, I have not seen it yet the posts were in the way. Would have given the score a gloss it did not deserve.

Celtic league is very much a possibility for the mighty Warriors - if we can dispatch of the Ospreys next week then there are a number of key games coming up against the main title opposition - Ulster and the Dragons.
