Warriors 29 - 23 Glasgow

Accurate goal kicking from Neil Jenkins and tries from Gareth Wyatt and Chris Horsman gave the Warriors a 29 - 23 win over Glasgow at the Brewery Field on Friday night. Glasgow scrum half Sam Pinder scored an early try for the vistors but the Warriors soon took the lead thanks to a Neil Jenkins penalty and a converted Chris Horsman try. Calvin Howarth then put Glasgow back into the lead with a penalty but despite a number of attacking opportunities they failed to add any more points in the first half.

Before half time the Warriors managed to grab a second try through Gareth Wyatt which was converted by Jenkins which allowed them to go in at the break in front by 17 points to 10. In the second half Glasgow tried to fight their way back but further penalties from Neil Jenkins put the Warriors into a 13 point lead and despite scoring a try late on through Alan Bulloch, Glasgow were not able to grab the victory.

The win for the Warriors  moves them up to fourth place in the Celtic League with the World Cup Warriors returning soon (although not too soon we hope) things are looking far brighter than a few weeks ago.
