The Celtic Warriors face the challenge of Glasgow at the Brewery Field on Friday night as both teams look to make the quarter final stage of the Celtic Cup. For full team news read on.

The Celtic Warriors take on Glasgow at the Brewery Field on Friday night and coach Lynn Howells has made a number of changes to the starting fifteen that played Leinster last weekend at Sardis Road due to injuries and international commitments.

Matthew Nuthall returns to the team at fullback in place of Kevin Morgan who is now with the Welsh squad whilst Shaun James has occupied on of the centre positions after Jon Bryant suffered an injury against Leinster last weekend. 

In the forwards, Martyn Jones is preferred to Chris Horsman at prop and Ryan Jones takes over from Deiniol Jones in the second row. Nick Kelly, who sustained an injury against Leinster is replaced by Cory Harris who will play at openside flanker with Richard Parks switching to the blindside.

One replacement is still to be named as the hooker crisis continues. Mefin Davies who started on the bench against Leinster before coming on to score a crucial try is away with the Wales squad and so Howells and Lewis may look to Canadian international Patrick Riodan who came on as a substitute for Pontypridd against Newport because he happens to be visiting someone in Pontypridd this week. Also on the bench is Emyr Lewis after he impressed against Newport for Pontypridd although there were a few occasions where he didn't make the most of his opportunities. Scrum half cover on the bench is again provided by J Donovan and development player Mark Lewis steps onto the bench as a result of the injury to Nick Kelly.

The match is all pay (Season Tickets are not valid) and kicks off at 7.05pm at the Brewery Field. For anyone who is not able to make he trip the match can be seen live on BBC2W and BBC2 Wales from 6.45pm.
