Steve has risen from equal fourth place in last year's poll and thoroughly deserves the player of the year award. His performances this season have been extremely consistent, and he must surely be Henry's first name on the teamsheet every week.
He's a great header of the ball and always digs in when things are tough for the team.
Kegsy was out injured for a short spell this season, and this coincided with a wee slump in the form of the team, which shows just how important he is.
We salute you Steve!
