Kenny Black and his new board of directors are looking at a 4 year plan to get Montrose into the 1st division. In the past 2 home games the team has finally shown the promise of early season and things can finally get going again. So 3-0 down to Dave Baikie's East Fife and something happened on the pitch, or off it. The home bench kept shouting and Montrose scored 3 to get a point and nearly stole it at the end.

Last weekend what a difference in the players they showed passion and scored 4 2nd half goals (busting my bet at the bookies, Henner owes me £105). The star of both games has to be Kenny's son Stephen, some were questioning why he was signed but he has the making of a great pkayer. Here is hoping we have him next season. Now the new manager is in place where does he go from here? Jim Weir is going to have his own ideas but at least he can assess what is already here and funds will be mae available in the summer.

With John Paton stepping down and a new chairman and board members being elected it looks as if Montrose have the foundation for a bright future. A new pitch is to be laid in the summer and the Montrose fans are hoping that a team pushing for promotion will be gracing the hallowed astro turf of Links Park next season.
