Welshpool earned the result of the day as they beat Newtown 6-1 at Lathom Park. Caersws maintained the pressure on TNS after winning 1-0 at Port Talbot, the same margin as Bangor's victory over Afan Lido, who are now nervously looking over their shoulder following Llanelli's 3-2 win at Cefn Druids.
