Welshpool Town have surprisingly sacked manager of five years, Russell Cadwallader. The Welshpool board cited a disappointing season as the reason for the 'mutual' decision.

Town finished in 15th place, a position that Cadwallader thought would please the board after being told at the start of the season that survival was the target.
