Newtown have been boosted by the news that star midfielder Justin Wickham will stay at Latham Park next season, after turning down the chance of UEFA Cup football at Cwmbran from ex-boss Brian Coyne CARLOS EDWARDS

JUSTIN STICKS WITH ROBINS

Newtown winger Justin Wickham has agreed to stay with the Robins, despite receiving a wealth of offers from rival clus.

The news will be welcomed by new Newtown Manager Roger Preece, as he goes into his first season in the hotseat. The 25-year-old right winger admitted he was tempted by an offer to join former manager Brian Coyne at Cwmbran, but has turned down the opportunity to play UEFA Cup football to stay at Latham Park.
