Gloria confirmed as Bangor's Intertoto Opposition

Bangor have learnt they will now face Gloria 1922 Bistrita not CeahaulPiatra Neamt in the Intertoto Cup First Round, after a cock-up by the Romanian Football Association. CARLOS EDWARDS

UEFA have announced a change of opposition for Bangor City with Gloria 1922 Bistrita replacing Ceahlaul following a mistake by the Romanian FA. 

The 'Citizens' had already made travel arrangements for the trip to Romania, in the belief they were going to face Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt. Thankfully, Gloria are based nearby Ceahlaul in the province of Transylvania, infamous for it's vampires!

The first leg will be played at Rhyl's Belle Vue stadium on 21 June (ko 3.00 pm). The return leg is the following Saturday, although the kick off time is yet to be confirmed. The reward for beating Gloria would be a lucrative tie with Italian giants Brescia.

And you thought the Welsh FA were bad!
