Diamonds physio gives the all clear for Michael McElhatton and Duane Darby to play in the first friendly against Borehamwood, as they return to full- time training Both players had an unlucky season, last year, with their injuries, and both players are keen to prove themselves fit enough to gain selection for the first team, at the start of the season.
Darby only managed 17 appearances, last season, as he was first hit by a virus, then an ankle injury, at Mansfield, forced him to miss the rest of the season, and play-offs.
McElhatton recently underwent further surgery to the knee that kept him out for most of last season.
both are back to full-time training, under the watchful eye of Brian Talbot, and Steve Spooner.
