This Saturday sees Rushden at home again when they take on Kidderminster Harriers. The Northamptonshire side will be out for revenge for the defeat in their last home game of last season when the harriers won 2-0 in front of a 5478 crowd. Two defensive errors cost the diamonds the game which meant that they had to win the last game of the season, at Halifax to secure a place in the play-offs. The rest is history.

The probable 11 that will start the game will not be much different to the team that started in the last encounter back in april, but with Tillson (hamstring), Bignot (knee) facing late fitness tests, and Mustafa sidelined, the side will again have a youthful look to it. Good news is Darby has found his fitness again as witnessed when he scored on Tuesday against Torquay.

4 points from 2 games will give the diamonds players confidence, and although Brian Talbot is happy with the performances in the first 2 games he has stressed that they must not get carried away, especially as there has been a rivalry between the diamonds and the harriers, with the latter often getting the upper hand.

Meanwhile, Harriers boss, Ian Britton, is keen to repeat their best division 3 result under his charge. He is keeping quiet over his selection and tactics, but is hoping that several niggles from a hard fought 0-0 draw at Bournemouth will clear up.

Harriers skipper Sean Flynn should be back for selection after recovering from a trip on a childs toy, and falling down the stairs, at home last weekend. Ian foster also returns from a suspension.
