Everton has in recent seasons been a happy hunting ground for Spurs. Will this season prove as fruitful as other recent visits? Now that Everton's European aspirations, have taken a severe knock, it would seem that Spurs should be able to perform a smash and grab raid up on Merseyside. However, the reverse at St James Park a couple of weeks ago, was a stark reminder that Spurs still have to up their game a bit to silence a partisan crowd, and they don't come more partisan than the Goodison Park faithful. Anyone who was up there on Good Friday a couple of years ago [me included] will remember what a bitter disappointment that game was. Last season we won, but I still don't know how. Everton battered us for most of the game but somehow they failed to score.

We normally do well up there, but Everton possess the players to punish us still - Cahill, Arteta, and Beattie are all influential on their day and McFadden always seems to do well when he faces us. My heart says a 3-0 win for Spurs but my head says a hard fought 2-2 draw. COYS!!!!!
