Tim Sherwood is set to spite Spurs by staying to cause more havoc, stalling on deals from both Portsmouth and West Brom. Albion are still waiting to hear if they have been successful.... Tim Sherwood is set to spite Spurs by staying to cause more havoc, stalling on deals from both Portsmouth and West Brom.

Albion are still waiting to hear if they have been successful in persuading Tim Sherwood to move to the Hawthorns.

The Baggies have had talks with the Spurs midfielder, who is also being linked with a move to first division promotion hopefuls Portsmouth.

"We had lengthy talks with Tim and his representatives last week," said Baggies chief executive Brendon Batson.

"He is very much aware we cannot wait much longer for a decision," he added.

With the transfer window nearing its end any possible Sherwood deals will have to be concluded quickly.
