I have been posting here occasionally and read a lot of the posts for some time now. It really annoys me to read some of the reactionist small minded and worse still faithless people that has been posting on this (and other) sites! It really annoys me to read some of the reactionist small minded and worse still faithless people that has been posting on this (and other) sites! Reactionist when we win because we are gonna get that Champions League spot and faithless when we lose as we should then be sacking Jol!

Let me remind those that have ever thought about the need to replace Jol! please dig into that short term memory of yours, if not look up on the internet or ask someone that can remember! Remember the time when all we had to look forward to was another change in management, another relegation battle/mid table finish, the prospects of losing our best players at poor prices and buying old has beens at over inflated prices/wages! and you will see the HUGE difference and change that has occurred with our team over past 2-3years!

We have went from a sleeping, no! a comatosed giant! to a club that has built up a reputation for having a solid spine of Young English players, that are more likely to get a look in when an international comes around. Add to that our recent addition of quality foreign players. then you have a club that is seen as going places, well run, a great international brand and importantly not in any debts!

Our reputation has improved by leaps and bounds and our professionalism makes us a top choice as a club to go to out side of the top 4 we are probably the 5-6th preferred destination for any players wanting to come/move in the Premiership!

We were the first team to install a Director of Football when everyone was laughing at us as to how we would fail. But we have proven that this is a very stable and professional setup! One that gets new players at great prices and sells our players at prices that will benefit the team! Most important we have a manager that is respected by many of his peers! recognised by people whom know a thing or 2 about football, to be a great coach/manager, (Fergie wanted him as his no 2 remember)

BUT still there a a large number of you whom are calling for his head because some of our league results have not gone our way!

If I was told 2/3 years ago that we will be so highly regarded, have a young team of mainly British players, be considered the leader in the second group behind the top 4 and have no problems in attracting quality players like Berba, Zok and Chimb, be managed by a respect manager, have stability in the runnning of the club and direction that we as a team are pulling towards, have some gloss put back on the brand that is Tottenham Hotspur! I would have been happy as Feck and be less nervous and apprehensive at the start of each new season!

Please do not get frustration with the present results confused with the inability of the management! Yes Jol has to step up and guide a very young squad, whom has had its leader on the pitch (the King) in and out of the side due to injuries, many players need to step up, especially in our away perfomances! BUT that does not mean we need a complete overhaul of our management team and playing staff!

Dont confuse the one off "near" top 4 finish last year as a sign that we have broken into the top 4 cos, though we are closer, we are still some way from that! Look at Everton the last team to do that, they have had 2 poor seasons since as they was never equipt to handle that level of expectation!! do not jump the gun YET and have premature visions of grandeur!

Dont be fickle fans! We all need to remember we have had 9 managers in our period in the premiership, how can a club be built when the direction it is going towards is being constantly changed every 2-3 years? We need to stick by the management and staff at our club, bite the bullet and hang onto what is going to be a very bumpy and frustrating ride!! We are no longer on a merry go round but on a custom built speeding rollercoster ride that is gonna give us both highs and lows, but one that will ultimately give us great pleasure as it was something built on a solid foundation of great players, great management and fantastic support!

If you dont like this kind of ride please get off and jump onto the safe and secure rides that are the arsescum, chavski and Mancs!
