Well After the disappointment of Saturday's loss at Bolton Wanderers Martin Jol has declared ."We are not panicking. Berbatov is a gifted player, Benoit is a good full-back and Zokora didn't have his best game today but believe me, he's one of the best and he's proved that. It's only a matter of gelling together and I am convinced we can do the same in the future.

So no panic buys then! Continuing Tottenham's recent policy of doing without if they cannot get who they want. With most fans in agreement that the need for a right back and left winger is of the utmost importance and maybe another striker (although my thoughts on this are that Barnard deserves a go!) I really hope that there will be another couple of players coming in before the transfer window slams shut at the end of the month.

My concern is that expectations are too great this season, I feel that although we had a much better season last year we still made an awful lot of individual errors which cost us points, yet Chelsea apart the other supposed top 3 teams in the premiership also did not play to their usual standard...

So did that make teams like Tottenham look better?

I for one cannot forecast how things are going to go for our club this season, hopefully Saturday will have been a blip and the team will have come back down to earth with a gigantic bang, I hope that MJ will have had his say and a few home truths were 'discussed' in the changing room afterwards but also expect MJ to have worked on the players personally since to get their individual chins up for Tuesdays match against Sheffield United at WHL.

This will not be a pushover game if their game against Liverpool on Saturday was anything to go by, Tottenham will have to be playing a totally different game than they did against Bolton and hopefully will approach this game with an urgency to win but above all to get some goals under their belts.

Lastly I have been disappointed with the reaction of some fans after Saturday's game, the internet has been ablaze with Tottenham fans telling Jol where he went wrong and some even calling for his head and putting their Season tickets up for sale!! All this AFTER ONE GAME in a very long season.

Don't get me wrong I was also very upset at the performance and we really do need to be beating the Bolton Wanderers of the premiership if expectations this season are to be realized, but the overreaction has stunned me!
One word to describe these fans is 'FICKLE'
