A couple of jaunts into Europe, an FA Cup & a Worthington Cup win in 91 & 99 respectively.

Some good cup runs and signing some exciting players [Klinnsman,Ginola] have been the highlights for me.

We still signed bad players and even worse players that we lost money on.

But fast forward to 2004 when a certain Mr Jol took over our beloved club. With Levy now backing Jol things were happening. We finished 9th that season and im sure I wasn't the only one who could see that times were changing.

Yes of course the "usual top 4" were still winning things but you could literally see the change taking place at White Hart Lane.

Over 40 odd players later and here we are with probably the most exciting squad I can remember and although we missed out on Champions League last year, here we are with a great season in the Premier league and a Euro adventure before us.

I for one cannot wait for this season to start and after getting to know lots on NLP I feel the general consensus is the same........ not only excitement, but genuine belief in the manager, board and club to carry on going forward and taking us back to being an exciting club to watch again.

Quite a few people in the game mention us as faves outside the top 4, some even mention us in the top 4,But in years gone past would you feel that confident?
Hats off to the club with changes from top to bottom, a waiting list soooo long for season tickets and capping memberships at 70K. Shirts selling out in just a couple of hours, new youth management, new training ground plans and good business sense when certain players leave shows where we are right now.

Where will we be in 2 years from now......... over to you Mr Jol!
