Rumours are that the players were split 50/50; one group all for Flynn's managerial style, the other players not liking Flynn at all because they have been made to feel that he does not like them.  If this is true, it is surely right that Flynn leaves?  Note that these players are also said to be delighted that the former Wrexham boss has now departed.

Anyway, we cannot discredit what Flynn has achieved for the club.  Retaining our Football League status last season was a piece of brilliance because we looked doomed and gloomed.

However at times, Flynn's lop-sided 4-3-3 formation with just one winger has looked awful, yet he has continued with it even though our best performances have come whilst playing 4-4-2. 

The question over his tactics was raised by former boos Jan Molby, who said that the Swans were to predictable after his Kidderminster side beat the Swans 2-0.

Defeat at Macclesfield on Tuesday night has proved to be Flynn's last match as Swans boss, one of many disappointing results that has seen us slip from the automatic promotion spots in September to 10^th place with no hope of reaching the play-offs in March.

Alan Curtis will now take temporary charge of team affairs at The Vetch until a successor is found.  Former Tranmere Manager, John Aldridge is strongly rumoured  to be Flynn's long-term successor.
