With the relegation race getting tighter every week this was a chance to get 3 points and maybe pull above Chesterfield. As it happens Cheltenham Town never do things the easy way and it took an 88th minute equaliser to earn a point against a determined Wycombe side The fun involving early goals continued at Adams Park today as ref S Bennett gave a penalty in the first 5 minutes to Wycombe for a foul by Mike Duff on Kieth Ryan.Steve Brown tucked away the resulting spot kick and the Robins were a goal down

Cheltenham were definetly in slow starting mode as a Roger Johnson shot was headed off the line by Mark Yates a few minutes later. The Robins first real chance came through a Jamie Victory shot that was deflected wide and they followed it up with a Yates header that just went wide

Wycombe however were showing real threat upfront on the counter and they very nearly increased their advantage with a Ryan shot that was palmed away by Higgs.Finnigan and Duff had shots charged down and Marvin Brown was unlucky to see his effort pushed over the bar by Talia

Cheltenham started the second half with their best chance yet as McCann's header hit the post and came back out but Brown incredibly put the rebound wide

Higgs was then called on to make a good save from a one on one with Dixon but that was the only real Wycombe threat as Cheltenham seemed to be camped in their half

Ads time ticked down many had resigned themselves to a defeat but Naylor somehow saw a gap in the defence and took a shot that went under Talia and sent the 730 Cheltenham fans into raptures
