Colchester are in Town this weekend in another Division 2 relegation 6 pointer which after the defeat to Barnsley in midweek is a MUST win game. Unfortunately we play Colchester just as they hit some form, 2 wins and a draw from their last 3 games including a 2-1 away win versus Bristol City, the man to watch is Scott McGleish who has been on the score sheet in the last 2 games including the late winner versus another relegation rival Mansfield Town.

Other players to look out for in the Colchester line up are midfielder Kemal Izzet the younger brother of Leicester’s Turkish international Muzzy Izzet.

Liam Chilvers is a defender currently on loan from Arsenal, Micky Stockwell will play just behind the forwards, he played over 600 times for the Tractor boys and was voted Colchester’s player of the year for season 2001/02.

2 forwards we will have to be wary of are Cameroon International Simon Antangana who was signed from Dundee United and on loan Crystal Palace forward Gareth Williams who has bagged 16 goals in 13 Eagles reserve games this season.

Team news for Cheltenham is that Jamie Victory returns after his one game ban and should take his place back on the left hand side of defence. Steve Jones should retain his place in the team after his impressive display on Tuesday, with John Brough and Greg Strong competing for the one remaining central defensive position beside Micheal Duff.

John Finnigan will again miss out due to a bruised foot and the game will come to soon for Neil Howarth who is still suffering from a hamstring pull. Antony Griffin is out for 4 to 6 weeks with a hamstring injury.

Bobby Gould may want to re shuffle his pack after the shambolic display against Barnsley so either Paul Brayson or Damian Spencer may start the game in attack.

Previous meeting this season this season between the 2 teams saw a 1-1 League draw at Layer Road with Tony Naylor scoring the goal and a 4-1 win for the Robins in an LDV Vans game at Whaddon Road with Paul Brayson grabbing a brace.

There is no doubt that this is a game that has to be won if we are to stay in Division 2.
