After yesterday's announcement that Mick Wadsworth was taking over the reins we wondered who he really was. Now we have come to terms with Mick Wadsworth's new position as manager we look deeper into the issue.

The chairman, David Taylor, was quick to praise Wadsworth and pointed out that he has an excellent track record. He also has a personal recommendation from one of the most respected figures in English Football, Sir Bobby Robson.

The reason for this recommendation is that Mick was head coach under Bobby for two years in which the club was transformed.

A former England Under 21 Coach and member of the 1990 World Cup Staff, Mick managed Carlisle to a Divisional Championship in 1995 and was voted 'Manager of the Year'.
