All four drivers will be testing at Paul Ricard during the week, and it's a good job too. Juan Pablo Montoya scored no points in today's GP, in fact he didn't even finish. The Columbian mysteriously lost the car on lap 18 and was thereby beached on the kerb. However Kimi Raikkonen managed to score some points...

...although only four. The Finn made a fantastic start from his disappointing fifth row grid position upto P5. However Kimi would remain 'best of the rest' as the Renaults and Ferraris, lead by the dominating Fernando Alonso romped home.

A double podium finish for Renault was spoiled only by Michael Schumacher who stood on the second highest step, leaving Fisichella third. Felipe Massa wasn't able to build on his first podium of last weekend finishing fourth.

Of course Kimi was fifth, leading Jenson Button by only 1.4s. The Brit was held up by his team mate Rubens Barrichello in the first stint, and approaching the end turned down his revs hoping for his Honda V8 to power him to glory in it's second race at Monaco.

Had it not been for Barrichello perhaps we'd have only been looking at three points today?

Rounding out the points finishers were Barrichello and BMW's Nick Heidfeld who did a solid job today to finish in front of the Toyota's, which incidentally started in front of him. Ralf Schumacher drove in to his team mate ending his race, whilst the Trulli train dropped way back to tenth.

Perhaps back to the drawing board for Toyota?

Special mention I think should go to Scott Speed, who was doing very well until his Cosworth V10 gave up for the first time this season.

Looking at the points tables McLaren is behind third behind Renault and Ferrari, Kimi retains his third with 27 pts while the DNF'ing Montoya (15 pts) gets knocked down one place by Jenson Button.
