McLaren fastest at tyre test

Saturday saw Michelin tankers hit the track to make it artificially wet for the tyre test ahead. Two teams attended - McLaren and Renault, fielding one car each.

Pedro de la Rosa was 0.056 faster than Heikki Koveleinen's Renault, and the Spaniard completed 6 more laps.

Testing begins again during the week.
