The 2005 Turkish Grand Prix was very eventful and a nail-bitter for all.
McLaren had high hopes with both drivers running very heavy in good positions.
Renault and Alonso had high hopes to win to try and cement WCC and WDC victory as early as possible.
Williams had qualified well and needed to show improvement on the FW27.
Ferrari looked on good form at Hungary and was hoping for good form at Turkey after spending one and a half weeks testing during the 3week testing ban.
BARs Jensen Button wanted to improve on his 5th placing at Hungary, but his spin during qualifying would make life harder.
