Practice 3: Lewis 1st As Fernando Breaks Down.

Following two below average practice sessions, the McLaren team and its drivers would of being looking to reverse the misfortune that plagued the teams practice session yesterday. Current championship leader Lewis Hamilton put in a stunning lap, which none of the field could respond to, Fernando Alonso on the other hand suffered more bad luck, as he suffered with a break balance sensor problem.

Sunny conditions greeted the drivers for the third and final practice session for the French grand prix, temperatures were hovering around the 21°C mark. The session was uneventful, until the outside of the final corner’s kerb was found loose, which brought out the red flag, a couple of minutes later, the circuit was given the green flag, as the kerb was cut off to allow practice to resume.

Ferrari driver kept Lewis on guard as the Brazilian finished the session second 0.3 seconds ahead of team mate Kimi Räikkönen. Renault look slightly stronger than normal, the French team finished the session 4th and 5th.
