Football and Cricket – Head to Head

Bank Holiday Family Fun Day - Sunday 25th August 2002

As part of Notts County Cricket Club player Chris Tolley's benefit year, a celebrity cricket match is being held at Caythorpe Cricket Club (off the A6097 near Lowdham) on August Bank Holiday Sunday.

Attractions include stalls, BBQ, face painting, bouncy castle, tombola, cricket skills, autographs, bar, music, memorabilia and much, much more.

The fun begins at 11 am with the cricket match starting at 2pm. And all for the price of a Quid for the Kids and £3 for Adults - pay at the gate.

Come along and see how some of your former Forest favourites fare with a cricket ball – Ian Bowyer, Gary Birtles, Viv Anderson, Bryn Gunn and current Forest Manager, Paul Hart will be amongst the Bunbury Celebrity Cricket Club players.
