Justine Henin-Hardenne defeats Maria Sharapova at the quarter final of the Qatar Open in Berlin. The young Russian has wasted her chance to become the number one on the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour ranking. She needed to win the Qatar Open to overtake current No.1 Lindsay Davenport of the USA. Henin keeps Sharapova away from #1
