First she took the number 1 in rankings from sister Venus and then she also takes the crown of Wimbledon. Serena Williams is at the moment unstoppable winning two grandslams in a month. In their best match so far Serena ousted Venus 7-6 (7-4), 6-3, in 78 minutes, taking her very first crown at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.

"It was now or never because I was playing the two-times champion," said Serena after receiving the Ladies' trophy. "It's hard to beat Venus here.

"I definitely really was fighting in the first set, and played well in the tiebreak. She played well and wouldn't stop running the ball down."

Reaching the finals Serena took the number 1 position from sister Venus on the Worldrankings for the first time in her career and her 3rd Grandslam. She was the winner of 1999 US Open, Roland Garros 2002 and now Wimbledon 2002.

"I wanted to win so bad, and I kept thinking to myself, `OK, Serena, just stay calm. She already has two Wimbledons. Try to fight,'" Serena said. "And I really played really good today. Venus, she didn't...her serve...her arm was a little tired."

The runner-up was a bit disappointed.

It's not fun losing, no matter who you lose to," said Venus."It's not something that I'm going to get used to or try to adjust to because I'm not one for losing often."

With the sisters winning 7 out of the last 12 grandslams, the sisters currently dominate everything and everyone in todays' women's tennis.
