Serena, Capriati and Pierce Win, Kournikova loses

Capriati, Serena Williams and Mary Pierce all winners of the French Open passed the first round stage at Wimbledon but Kournikova lost. The last three winners of the French Open were in action today and all went through to the second round. Jennifer Capriati beat Janette Husarova 6-1, 6-4, Serena Williams beat Evie Dominikovic 6-1, 6-1 over in 42 minutes. Mary Pierce victorious in just over 2 hours with a 4-6, 6-4, 8-6 win over Alicia Molik.
The main attraction of the Womens Singles Draw, Anna Kournikova went out in 3 sets losing to fellow country woman Tatiana Panova 6-1, 4-6, 6-4. Rest of todays news will be announced as soon as it comes in.
