Billie Jean King as been removed from the Captaincy of the USA Fed Cup team due to dissappointing results and bust ups within the team, she will now be replaced by Zina Garrison The USA who lost to France in the final of the Fed Cup tournament in Moscow have been without top players since Jean King famously sent Jennifer Capriati home after breaking rules.

Capriati is not the only one to have argued with the former world number one, Lindsay Davenport and the Williams sisters, Venus and Serena have all had their bust ups with the captain.

Eventhough the USA made the finals part of that was due to a under strength Belgian side with them not having Kim Clijsters and Justine Henin-Hardenne.

The USA even brought back Martina Navratilova into the side to help boost morale and secure atleast once victory.

Garrison the first black Fed Cup captain to ever fill this role will now be looking to strengthen the side bringing in the Williams sisters, Davenport and Capriati back into the team making it the strongest team out there once again.
