Magui Serna claimed her second successive clay court title in two weeks after defeating Australian Alicia Molik to win the Budapest Grand Prix Molik who isn't known as a clay court specialist has produced wonderful tennis on the surface since the begining of the clay court season.

The number 2 and 3 seeds battled it out with the Aussie winning the first set 6-3. The second set and third set was extremely close with either player having chances to take the title but the Spaniards clay court experience paid off during the long match.

The Spaniard has now won 10 matches in a row after winning Estoril Open last week and now winning Grand Prix at Budapest.

"I played my best but Magui was just too good when it mattered most" said Molik

Serna complained of being tired which was expected during her terriffic display.

"I'm very tired after playing a lot of tennis in the past couple of weeks, but to win two titles in a row I'm playing with a lot of cofidence"

Final Result

(2) M SERNA (SPA) bt (3) A MOLIK (AUS)
3-6, 7-5, 6-4
